In Balenciaga's surreal Pre-Fall 2024 show held in Los Angeles, creative director Demna Gvasalia expressed his deep connection to the city, attributing his cultural evolution to its influence. Attendees gathered in Hancock Park, with the iconic Hollywood sign as a backdrop, creating a surreal atmosphere akin to a funeral in sunny Transylvania or a Technicolor Tim Burton film. This marked Balenciaga's second destination show in the US, featuring a collection that ranged from SoCal-inspired exercise wear to Y2K velour jumpsuits and shearling boots.  The runway featured our very own Kit Butler in an oversized velvet suit sans undershirt with matching black Balenciaga cap.
