I remember quite vividly the first time I saw Tyson Beckford, in a Ralph Lauren ad and being totally awestruck. I thought he was perfect- gorgeous, heroic, elegant, strong and powerful. So different than any other fashion image I had seen until that point. I didn’t know exactly what I was looking at but knew I wanted to be a part of it. Tyson quite literally is one of the main reasons I decided I wanted to work in fashion.

Fast forward nearly 30 years later and I finally got the opportunity to work with Mr. Beckford & can tell you not much has changed. He is still gorgeous, heroic, elegant, strong and powerful and more. A true gentleman.

Tyson has inspired an entire generation of models and Black creatives in fashion, including my friend and frequent collaborator @altonmason, who seemed like the only male model who could appear alongside Tyson in this story.

So here you have it, the icon @tysoncbeckford and the legend in the making @altonmason for the new issue of @manfantastic Magazine by @oliverhadleepearch.
