The boardwalks of New York beaches were the inspiration for Coach's SS23 backdrop and collection.  Designer Stuart Vevers said: “I don’t think I’ve ever referenced the beach at Coach.  We thought you could go to Coney Island, but you could also just go to the West Side and hang out on a pier, and you almost feel like you are at the beach.”  The pre-show featured Soul Models Kit Butler, Max Gottschalk & Xavier Gibson (otherwise known as Cowboy, Sailor & Balloon Guy).
